The History of Animated Gifs (Choosy Developers, Choose Gif)

What is a GIF? Is it pronounced GIF as in "j"iffy? or GIF as in "g"ift? With the creator of the GIF claiming the pronunciation is the former, and half of the population calling it the latter, it really doesn't matter how you pronounce it---and there are even more ways to create one! Tons of apps are being created and published everyday to make GIF making easy and accessible to the average consumer/creator. For the purpose of today's workshop we will be using several apps to help us create animated GIF's, but we will also cover some more skilled required processes for GIF creation. One way is using keynote/powerpoint presentations as a simple animation process by moving items in a different position from slide to slide, then exporting the slides as JPEGs and converting them to a GIF.
