Green Screen Super Hero
Today we are going to demystify green screen, and learn how and when to use it appropriately in our films. Before we begin learning how to use green screen we are going to view "Super Hero High School" made by a high school student to give some background context of where super heroes originated. From viewing this movie we are going to find inspiration to take that back even further and write a script about Super Hero Elementary. We will go through all phases of the production process: pre-production, production, and post production, to ensure we start with a good foundation and end strong! Here are suggestions for steps to follow:
Tasks:
1. Watch Super Hero High school. Pay close attention to multiple angles, camera "magic" or illusions, storyline, characterization. 2. In our group we will begin to brainstorm and plan our own movie. Explore the SuperHeroFx app and determine what power and what effects you might want to write into your storyline. MAKE SURE IT FITS THE STORY! Don't use it for the sake of using it. Explore Veescope Greenscreen app. What scenes can we use the school as a background, and what scenes will we want to use the green screen. Be practical. There should be more school background that green screen shots. Take the following into consideration: Pre-Production Writing your Script a. Setting b. Characters c. Storyline/conflict d. Beginning, middle, end Storyboarding a. multiple angles b. dialogue c. backgrounds d. Transitions/chapters |
Production:
Filming/Camera Man Lighting Multiple Angles (high/low) Sound Director Actors Post Production a. editing b. title slides c. music d. sound effects e. filters |
