Mission One:
Welcome to STEMVILLE, Ravens. In this mission you will solve the mystery of how good ideas are generated, explore the process of brainstorming, and determine what constitutes a newsworthy story according to the Nevermore Clan. MOJO Power (Mobile Journalist) skills will be discussed and you will pick a MOJO superpower, or two that you will want to master this 9 weeks. To be successful on this mission you must create a planning structure, make and adhere to time lines, define responsibilities, and establish a set of checks and balances between members of your MOJO League and the project’s goals.

It is the first and one of the most important rights in our constitution.The First Amendment was written at America’s inception to guarantee basic freedoms and rights to all citizens. Be prepared to discuss the importance of this amendment in class, and whether or not it is upheld. Can you think of some instances when this freedom is violated?

- DISCLAIMER: We will cover the follow resources in class discussions. You are responsible for navigating this material either for homework, or at the beginning of the class. The best way to be successful is to view this material ahead of time, leaving class time for collaboration, planning, and execution of major projects, as the editing software is available to you during class time.
